THE ANNUAL SEMINAR AT ABERGAVENNY
Monday 9th to Thursday 12th August 2010
Preliminary Details and call for Presentations

This event will have a similar format to last and previous years and consist of a number of presentations, a debate on a topical subject and visits to local places of interest.

We invite members of any U3As to make a presentation on a scientific or technology subject. Suitable subjects could include history of scientific developments, biology, physics, chemistry, medicine, life sciences, engineering, nanotechnology, water or travel in all forms. Presentations should be illustrated and last no more than 40 minutes. A further 20 minutes being allocated for questions and discussions. A digital projector will be available — the layout of the room does not lend itself to overhead projectors.

Please send offers of presentations to: U3aabergavenny2010@hotmail.co.uk

The Seminar is Open to all U3A Members

Three nights half board accommodation in Ty'r Morwydd Environmental Study Centre, Abergavenny and three days of talks, discussions and visits. There is provision for travelling on Sunday — B&B on Sunday night can be provided. More information on Ty' Morwydd can be found at www.mulberrycentre.com
