This is a recently formed group (March 2010), with Richard Watson as the convenor.

All aspects will be covered, and the technical level has been tailored to that required by the members in the group. At present, the group has ten members.

To date the presentations covered have been:

Basic aerodynamic theory. How can planes fly?
Airliner take-off performance. Basic propulsion system theory. Basic orbital mechanics.
History of aviation.

Future meetings will cover:

Berkshire man powered flight;
Lightning supersonic interceptor;
Visit to Woodley/Berkshire aircraft museum.
