Duplicate Bridge.
Duplicate Bridge has been running since March 2001. The group was set up specifically to enable people with a reasonably good knowledge of the game, but no experience at playing in clubs, to become familiar with duplicate bridge and learn the etiquette expected within more formal clubs, to enable them to move on if they so wish.
Generally players "graduate" from Arnold's Tuesday morning teaching sessions to try their hand at some friendly, but more serious games. We have also got a few more experienced players who enable the group to develop and offer help and advice.
It is most encouraging to see that there are now over 30 members of the group. We have space for more players. New members must phone Betty Hughes before coming to the group.
The morning costs £2.00, but may vary with numbers, to cover rental, refreshments and purchase of equipment.
