The Regional Conference for 2009 is being hosted by Newbury and Thatcham U3As will take place in May 2009.

REGIONAL TRAINING DAY
Training Day Training for U3A Honary Officers with particular focus on issues relating to finance and Treasurers activities. This would be held in April 2009
REGIONAL LUNCH
Regional lunch to be held in May 2009 in restaurant/hotel, perhaps to the south of Oxford on the River Thames with renowned national speaker on Third Age education.
SUMMER SCHOOL
A Summer School on ‘The History and Architecture of Oxford’ to be arranged to be held in an Oxford College.
STUDY HOLIDAY
Exchange visit with a U3A in Slovenia with a programme of cultural, education and leisure activities. A reciprocal visit would be held in 2010.
