German Intermediate
The members of this group meet in order to improve their proficiency in the language. During the informal meetings time is devoted to reading/translating, general discussion and aspects of grammar. The reading material is chosen from a number of sources and deals with topics of general interest to the members. Our German group meets every Wednesday morning between 10am and 12. We have recently started an A/S level Zeitgeist to give us some structure to our meetings and help with the grammar. We read various topics,enjoy conversation and have the help of a native German speaker.

German 2 began as German Beginners and is made up of a group with a varied but not formal background in German. Some knowledge of the language is needed to actively participate in this group, but fluency is certainly not a requirement!
The members meet in order to improve their proficiency in German. During the informal meetings time is devoted to reading/translating, general discussion and aspects of grammar, currently using the text book Deutsch Plus from BBC Active. The meeting times are Mondays from 0915 until 1030 hrs. Each group has typically 6 - 8 participants.
