Showtime

Our first production in 2007 was a pantomime at the EBOS venue in Pinewood, the following year we presented an Olde Tyme Music Hall at Woodley, last year a humorous look at life in France, ' Bonjour, Bonjour ' again at Woodley and this year we were lucky enough to hold our production at Wokingham theatre. It was a nostalgic walk down memory lane complete with authentic material both audio & visual from the 30ies through to the 60ies, called 'Things ain't what they used to be'.

We had great fun throughout our rehearsals remembering all sorts of extraneous things that had happened to us over the years….sometimes it felt as if we could keep you captive for a week at least !!

Showtime owes a great vote of thanks to Barbara Carr for restraining us and turning our ramblings into a cohesive whole! Our cast and helpers enjoyed themselves enormously ( most of the time ! ) working extremely hard to get this show on the road. .

Yesterday ( 19th November ) I had 2 total strangers tell me how much they enjoyed our latest production………we were truly delighted to see so many of you at the shows and thank goodness that we managed to please you.

Goodness alone knows what we will come up with for next year, but lots of our audience would seem to favour another Music Hall…..

Please, please, if there is anyone out there who would like to be involved we would be delighted to see you. If you have any experience in the performing arts…or, even dare I mention…. technical support….. please do get in touch with me or Pauline Riocreux and we will let you know when we plan to get together again.

Once again, thank you to you all for allowing us to do what we all love doing.
