SNOOKER ONE
'Snooker One' Group has just completed its fifth year with 19 of the original 20 still competing. Only one member has left, three years ago, and was immediately replaced.
Each year we have an tournament organised by a different member each year. Prizes are awarded and presented at the Snooker Annual Christmas Lunch. The average attendance at the lunch is between 35-40 including guests who are some wives and friends.
Each session during the year averages between 15 and 20. The sessions are held at the Nike Ice Rink, on the outskirts of Bracknell, where the snooker room has 5 tables enabling 20 players at any one time. We meet on the first and third Wednesday morning at 9.00am. At present there is not a waiting list as a second group has been formed (see Snooker Two) which meets on the other Wednesday mornings.
