Tour Operators’ Liability Insurance
National Office is delighted to announce that at long last, the Trust (with the considerable help of our broker Tony Carlile) has managed to take out tour operators’ liability insurance which will cover all UK U3As in the UK and mainland Europe.  The reason we have pursued this for so long is not because we want you to be able to organise any ‘social’ holidays yourselves – we still recommend use of a travel agent for these – but that we wanted you to have the option of organising study trips involving overnight accommodation without worry.  So the sort of things we have in mind are walking holidays, geology field trips, wine appreciation weekends in France, tours of Cotswold Churches etc.
