Wine Appreciation Group
A new group has been formed to taste, discuss and learn about wine. Our first meeting was in June 2007. We have begun by meeting in members homes and taking turns to present wine tastings and various wine topics to other members. We try to be responsible and keep our activities to tasting rather than drinking wine. We meet on the fourth Wednesday evening each month. At present we have to restrict numbers because our meetings are in a home setting, and the group is currently full.

Wine Appreciation 2
The May meeting
of the Wine Appreciation 2 group were lucky to have a presentation from Nick
Room who is a Waitrose wine buyer. We tasted eight wines selected by Nick
and appreciated his knowledge and skill. We expressed our appreciation to
Nick for his time.
We are not meeting
in June and having a barbecue in July.
