Group Description

This group has now been running for a few years in this format. The goal of the group is to improve your photography beyond taking snap shots. This is achieved by everyone in the group taking one photo per month on a set subject and then showing it at the next meeting for an open discussion on it. There is then a presentation/talk or demonstration on some aspect of photography. This may be a how to improve your Photoshop skills or how to take better photos with your camera. Each member of the group is expected to take a turn in presenting a talk/demo to help rotate the load and improve thier own skills.

Here are a few examples of previous talks: Landscape flowchart and Photoshop Masks explained.

It is essential to have good computer skills and some knowledge of Photoshop CS/CC or Photoshop Elements.

For more information please contact the convenor.

There is also a Walking with Cameras group.
