U3A Duffers Golf is a popular and expanding activity. Numbers are such that 3 groups (Golf Duffers 1, 2 & 3) currently exist to cover the demand. All 3 groups are theoretically full, but there is occasionally some attrition and it is possible to take in new members.
All of the groups play every Thursday at Billingbear Park Golf Course (a nine hole course) in Wokingham. Besides the ‘Old Course’, which we play, there is also a par 3 course. Billingbear Park is a Pay & Play course and the U3A players are not required to be members of the golf club. Details of the course can be found at http://billingbearpark.com/
