The first group started in the summer of 2011.
Members meet on a monthly basis to discuss and compare a wide range of stories that are covered in our national newspapers. Members buy specific papers on a rota basis in order to be able to consider the different styles of reporting.
Meetings are held in members’ homes.
Due to a high level of interest there are now a number of “What the Papers Say” groups. Each of these groups operates separately but, from time to time, they join together in a different venue to “compare notes” or for an outing, or to hear a speaker.
