Monthly Meeting: The Duke of Wellington, A life of Service

Do join us to the hear the extraordinary life of the Iron Duke.
This brand new talk captures the Duke of Wellington’s life from his birth in 1769 to his state funeral in 1852. including conflict in India. the Peninsula War and Waterloo. We follow his political life and we will be in the crowds of some 11/2 million people who followed his funeral procession from Horse Guards to St Paul’s Cathedral and finally we will hear Queen Victoria’s reflections on the Great Duke.
