The Backgammon group meetings are attended by 6 - 12 members (from beginners to more advanced)
on 4th Tuesday of each month.
We meet at a member's house for a session of about 2 hours play.
This group enjoys a social atmosphere which creates a friendly rivalry between players
and strongly encourages those new to the game.
Tuition can be arranged to help beginners understand the intricacies of the game, including how to read the throw of the dice and how to respond to what they show - you decide how to make your moves!
There is no need to buy/bring a Backgammon board with you as several members have more than one!
Come and try! You'll be quite surprised by the twists and turns of a Backgammon game!
No subscription necessary. Refreshments are often provided by the host.
