Following the recent road works on the Reading Road, some new road markings have appeared, heading from the Parish Rooms car park entrance down towards the Woosehill roundabout.

There is going to be a cycle lane running along that part of the road, with signage to go up soon. Cars are still permitted to park on the section that has been marked with dotted lines (up to the end of the bridge), but anyone parking on the solid lines will be in danger of receiving a parking ticket.

The good news is that there will soon be double yellow lines on the short stretch of road between the car park and the cycle lane, which should make it much safer when pulling out of the car park.
