We have been contacted by 2 production companies who are making programmes for Channel 4 and would like to hear from any U3A members who may be interested in taking part.

Monkey Kingdom is making a programme celebrating the 1950s and is looking for people who remember dancing as teenagers or young people and  couples who maybe met at a dance and still dance now.  Initially it will be a telephone chat and then they would select certain people to be filmed for the show which will be live on 23rd July. Anyone interested should contact Claire Fort on 0203 618 6151 or email her at claire.fort@monkeykingdom.com

Betty TV Ltd is looking for a small group of people to take part in a primetime consumer show called ‘Tricks of the Restaurant Trade’ in an episode focussing on the ‘food to go’ market.  They would like to take a group out for breakfast one morning, get opinions on new breakfast options and what they feel about having to eat on the go. Ideally they would like a group who do breakfast together.  Filming will be in Greater London w/c 18 or 25th July. It will involve a trip to a high street and questions from the presenter and will last about 3 hours.  Interested groups should contact Hannah Patnick on 0207 907 0601 or email her at hannah.patnick@betty.co.uk

Regards from,
